Hi there. I’m Lewi, a wild civet (or "lewak" in Indonesian) from the lush rainforests of Indonesia, and yes… I’m the one behind your cup of Lux Lewak coffee.

I know what you’re thinking: How does a little guy like me make such legendary coffee?

Well, let’s just say I’ve got an eye and a nose for excellence, when it comes to coffee.

I roam the forest freely, without cages, without stress, and without being rushed. I eat only what I love, and what I love are the ripest, juiciest coffee cherries I can find. Not just any red. They have to be that deep, perfect burgundy. It’s a gift, really.

Some call it instinct, others say obsession. I just call it breakfast.

After my gourmet selections pass through my unique little digestive system (hey, let’s not dwell on that part), something magical happens.

The beans lose much of their acidity and bitterness, but keep all their complex flavors. It’s like nature’s own fermentation process — and the result? A ridiculously smooth, rich, and low-acid coffee that’s unlike anything else.

When am I happiest?

🌙 At night, under the moonlight, scurrying through misty trees, foraging for that one perfect cherry.
🌞 And knowing that somewhere, someone like you is sipping the silky-smooth brew that all began with me.
